Reading my profile might give you the idea that I'm a dedicated Christian. You would be right. I have been called a Jesus Freak. (Thanks for the compliment) This is not an emotional response, or a knee jerk reaction to some event in my life. It is the result of thought and logic over a period of many years.
Sometimes it seems that I have always been a Christian. One of my earliest recollections is during kindergarten I used to pretend that I was a preacher, getting my Bible and using a footstool for a pulpit. Oddly enough, it took another seven to eight years before I actually made the declaration that Jesus is Lord and accepted Him as my Savior. God knew that at 5 years old I may have loved the Lord, but I was not able to understand enough to actually say "Yes Lord."
My name is Tim Lehmann and I originally come from Southern California.
I dedicated my life to the Lord when I was thirteen years old (1969), and since then I have grown to know Him not only as Savior, but as Lord and Master. I attended California Baptist College in Riverside, Ca. I was the associate pastor of a Baptist church in Southern California and my church experience includes training adults and youth in Sunday School as well as in practical applications of Biblical principals, counseling, and ministering to the sick and preaching the Gospel.
The Lord blessed me with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit when I was a young adult and since then my wife and I have been attending Pentecostal (mostly Assembly of God) churches where ever the Lord has led us to live.
Gail and I were married in 1973 (yes I was 17) and we have one daughter and two granddaughters. We currently live in Folsom, California.
I am an ordained inter-denominational minister.
My wife and I joyfully attend Bridge Community Church in Folsom, CA.
A lot has happened in the last few years. I got a job as an over the road truck driver which is why my blogging stopped for a while. Then, to my total surprise, on March 13, 2011 I had a major heart attack! We still live in central California but I was in New York state when I was hospitalized. So I'm not driving the truck anymore. right now I'm delivering newspapers and blogging. And relying on the Lord.
